Today’s cartoon shows my portrait of Hosni Mubarak immediately upon his assumption of power. Soon after the assassination of President Anwar Sada on October 6, 1981 right on parade ground during the country’s independence anniversary, the then Vice President, Hosni Mubarak took over the reins of government. Mubarak grew over time to become the nation’s greatest oppressor.
